UCLA Advertising and Marketing Team (AMT)

The UCLA Advertising and Marketing Team is a student-run organization attracting members who want to expand their knowledge of the advertising and marketing processes. The team has proved remarkably successful in the annual Regional and National Competitions run by The American Advertising Federation (AAF).
The teams from colleges all across the country are given a practical advertising problem sponsored by a major corporation. There are over 150 regional competitors, and only 17 are selected as finalists in the National Competition. Consistently UCLA's AMT has won first place in the Regional Competition and was the National winner of the 1999 Toyota campaign competition. Preparing and presenting high-tech multi-media marketing campaigns gives AMT members the opportunity to gain practical skills while developing strategic thought, research techniques, and marketing knowledge.
