Why did you choose Comm Studies as your major?

Wanted a challenging major with a broad scope that related to my industry.

Favorite UCLA memory and/or professor:

Neil Malamuth. Listening to Paul Von Blum stories.

How has Comm Studies empowered you in your professional and personal life?

I apply the things I learned everyday. I was able to enhance my writing skills that led me to write my first book. Also I used the statistical analysis skills I developed there to create proprietary algorithms I use in my current business.

What was the most valuable or applicable lesson you learned from a Comm Studies class?

Understanding the role of hormones in human behavior.

What advice would you give to a current Comm Studies student?

No matter what class you take they are ALL relevant in the working world.
