Why did you choose Comm Studies as your major?

Cute girls. Seriously, I just found Comm 10 very interesting and thought it was more interesting then Econ, Poli Sci etc.

Favorite UCLA memory and/or professor:

Jeff Cole, Patrice Weathers, Mardi Gregory and the Political Communications Class, I really enjoyed all their classes.

How has Comm Studies empowered you in your professional and personal life?

If you ask my wife, my Communication skills are horrible despite being a Comm Studies major. It would be hard to describe how it has helped me although I believe it has. I got to meet many smart people which is always empowering.

What was the most valuable or applicable lesson you learned from a Comm Studies class?

Shut up and listen more.

What advice would you give to a current Comm Studies student?

See above. Meet as many people as you can and help as many people as you can. It will come back to you in good ways.
